Festival Dates Confirmed for September 2026

Sappho Women can confirm the dates for the next International Eressos Women’s Festival.

The festival will take place from 9–19 September 2026 in Skala Eressos, Lesvos.

Following the 25th anniversary edition, we are returning to a shorter, more focused programme. This allows us to concentrate resources on the core festival period while keeping the event manageable for the organisation, the people involved, and the village that hosts it.

Running the festival involves year-round planning, coordination, staffing, safety, and logistics. A concentrated format helps keep that work sustainable.

The 2026 edition will continue to bring together women from Greece and abroad through workshops, performances, talks, and shared social spaces.
